JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a self-directed operations leader who can run day-to-day construction operations without needing daily instructions. You’ll lead projects end-to-end, manage subs and schedules, and keep owners informed—all while keeping budgets, quality, and safety on track.

What you’ll do:
Operations leadership: Own the daily running of the construction business—identify what needs to happen and make it happen.
Project management: Build schedules, create tasks, run standups/tea ---------- etings, track progress, manage risks, and drive closeout.
Contractor Foreman: Set up projects, budgets, schedules, RFIs/COs, and daily logs in Contractor Foreman (or help us optimize our setup).
Communication: Professionally answer/make calls, handle email/text updates, and serve as the primary point of contact for owners, subcontractors, etc.
Subcontractor management: Source, onboard, brief scopes, schedule, and hold subs accountable for quality, safety, and deadlines.
Scheduling & logistics: Coordinate inspections, deliveries, permits, and material procurement; keep everything on calendar and documented.
Quality, safety, and cost control: Punch lists, QA/QC walks, JHAs/toolbox talks, change orders, and budget tracking.
Documentation: Daily reports, photos, meeting notes, COs, invoices, and closeout packages.
Must-haves
Excellent English (spoken and written); professional phone manner.
Proficiency with a permit drawing program (AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, or similar) and ability to produce code-compliant plan sheets.
Strong project management skills with proven experience leading multiple jobs at once.
Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Contractor Foreman.
Self-starter: Operates with minimal oversight; anticipates needs, solves problems, and follows through.

Nice-to-haves
Hands-on experience with Contractor Foreman specifically.
Familiarity with estimating, takeoffs, and job costing (QuickBooks/Togal/etc.).
Experience scheduling inspections and working with local building departments.
OSHA-10/30 certification.

What information to send with your resume:
Which project management software do you prefer and why? (Tell us how you’ve set it up—workflows, templates, dashboards.)
Briefly describe a project you ran end-to-end and how you handled schedule, budget, and subs.
Your availability and compensation expectations.
What other resources you can bring to the table? What makes you stand out amongst other candidates.

How to apply: Email your resume and the items above to homesbylbc gmail with subject “Operations & PM – Your Name.”
