JOB OVERVIEW

As a Social Media Assistant at Accelerated Athletes, you’ll play a key role in creating, organizing, and executing content that connects with our audience and amplifies our brand online. You’ll plan and schedule posts, write engaging captions, track performance analytics, and support the overall digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms.

You’ll collaborate closely with the team to brainstorm creative ideas, manage content calendars, and ensure all social media messaging aligns with brand goals and voice. Your efforts will help maintain a strong, consistent, and engaging online presence that inspires our community.

This role is ideal for someone who’s creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about social media, storytelling, and fitness. You should be confident using digital tools, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love turning ideas into content that drives engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management

Plan, schedule, and publish posts using tools like Later or Meta Business Suite

Write clear, compelling, and on-brand captions that align with campaign goals

Maintain and organize content libraries, ensuring media assets are up to date

Track and analyze social media performance metrics to inform future content

Collaborate with the team on content strategy, trends, and campaign ideas

Provide light video editing support for social media reels and short-form clips (e.g., trimming, captioning, formatting for different platforms)

Additional Project Support
Assist with logistics and coordination for the upcoming book launch, including managing timelines, outreach lists, and communication tracking

Provide soft video editing support for creating engaging social media reels and podcast clips (e.g., trimming, captioning, formatting for platforms)

Support speaking engagement coordination, including scheduling, follow-ups, and preparation of materials

Manage podcast guesting outreach, including researching relevant podcasts, drafting personalized pitch emails, tracking responses, and scheduling interviews

Qualifications
1+ year of experience managing or supporting social media accounts for a brand, business, or influencer

Strong written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail

Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, Later, Meta Business Suite, and basic video editing platforms (e.g., iMovie, CapCut, or Canva Video)

Understanding of social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement best practices

Highly organized and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

Eager to learn, experiment with new ideas, and contribute to a creative, collaborative environment
