Accounting Agency is a boutique accounting and finance firm that partners specifically with marketing, advertising, and creative agencies. The firm helps these companies grow by leveraging financial data and implementing proven strategies. The services include full accounting operations, financial modeling, and business strategy, offering more than bookkeeping by acting as a strategic partner to agency clients. With a strong focus on marketing, advertising, influencer agencies, and data-driven decision-making, Accounting Agency positions itself as “more than your bookkeeper” and as a trusted financial advisor to creative businesses. Given this positioning, your marketing role will be crucial in communicating that value, generating leads, booking appointments, and ultimately supporting the firm’s growth.

Role and Job Description

Position: Marketing & Demand Generation Lead
Location: Remote — Philippines / APAC Region
Reports to: Managing Partner
Type: Full-time (or part-time to grow into full-time)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role

As the Marketing & Demand Generation Lead at Accounting Agency, you will lead our outbound and inbound marketing efforts. You will build and manage email campaigns, create content that educates our audience (marketing and advertising agency clients), and drive appointment bookings with qualified prospects. You will collaborate with leadership to define target segments, craft messaging, design campaigns, track results, and iterate on strategies. You will own and execute the entire funnel, from content/offer creation to campaign deployment, lead nurturing, and booking appointments. Your work will support our mission of being the financial partner of choice for creative agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement email marketing campaigns targeted at agency clients (marketing, advertising, influencer-driven).

Craft content (blog posts, white-papers/guides, case studies, newsletters) that speaks to agency pain points (financial operations, forecasting, growth strategy).

Create and manage lead magnets/offers in coordination with leadership (e.g., free consultation, audit, financial health check).

Manage the lead-nurture process: segment lists, set up drip sequences, and monitor performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and appointment bookings).

Use CRM or email platform to track leads, measure campaign effectiveness, and feed data back into improvement loops.

Coordinate with sales/business development team (or external partners) to ensure booked appointments are followed up and converted.

Optimize the appointment-booking flow to ensure high-quality leads, a smooth handoff, and minimal friction.

Generate regular reports on marketing KPIs (leads generated, email metrics, content performance, booked appointments) and present insights/recommendations to leadership.

Stay up to date on marketing tools, best practices for agency-targeted messaging, and leverage automation where appropriate.

Collaborate with leadership to refine the positioning and messaging of Accounting Agency in the market of creative/marketing/advertising firms.

Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of marketing experience (ideally B2B, professional services, or agency-adjacent).

Proven ability to manage email campaigns, build lead-nurture sequences, and book appointments (or generate pipeline).

Excellent written content skills: you can write engaging copy for agencies and break down complex financial/accounting concepts into plain language.

Comfortable owning the process end-to-end: from ideation through execution to measurement and refinement.

Familiarity with CRM/email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Salesforce).

Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret metrics, draw insights, and adjust campaigns accordingly.

Self-starter, highly organized, able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines, comfortable in a growing firm environment.

Bonus: experience in marketing to marketing/advertising agencies, or familiarity with finance/accounting services for agencies.

What You’ll Get
Opportunity to build and shape the marketing function.

Significant autonomy and ability to lead processes and strategies.

Clear measurable goals and the chance to directly impact bookings and revenue growth.
