About the job

We are a website development company looking for a Designer who is more than “just a designer”, but also a Product Owner. You will design websites in Figma, understanding their features and interaction flows for our developers to build on platforms like WordPress and Webflow. You will discuss designs with clients, provide recommendations, and test the finished website you have designed.

This job is fully remote and the hours are flexible. You need to attend occasional meetings in USA time zones.

We will begin with a contractual offer with the possibility of extending to full-time. The salary range is $ ---------- per month depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

+ Excellent English proficiency
+ Access to smartphone and laptop
+ Ability to join client calls or watch recordings and design based on what was discussed
+ At least 3 years of experience in website UI/UX and graphic design
+ Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Sketch/XD
+ Strong understanding of how websites work for developer handoff
+ Ability to translate client feature requests into wireframes and create custom brand assets
+ Ability to explain the motivation behind design choices

Your job will include
+ Designing sitemaps and wireframes of complete websites from client requirements
+ Creating final designs and custom visual assets in Figma and Adobe Suite
+ Testing websites before they are released as the final line of defence
+ Submitting bug reports
+ Understanding the full scope of the website and advising the team on it
+ Understanding website UX/UI principles and flows, not just visuals
+ Collaborating with developers and project managers to ensure design usability
+ Designing end-to-end graphics and on-brand assets for the website
+ Using ClickUp for project tasks and updates
+ Using Slack for communication
