JOB OVERVIEW

Smart Pups is a registered charity based in Queensland that trains and places assistance dogs with children living with special needs across Australia. We rely on community support, sponsorship, and creative campaigns to keep changing lives, one paw at a time.

We’re now looking for a Marketing and Social Media Guru to take our charity to the next level!
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media: Create and manage engaging posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Growth Strategy: Build a loyal, engaged following — not just likes, but a genuine community that connects with our mission.
Marketing Materials: Design and produce flyers, social posts, presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials for campaigns and events.
Campaigns: Develop online fundraising and awareness campaigns to increase followers, donations, and brand visibility.
Analytics: Track engagement, reach, and growth; suggest improvements to enhance our presence and impact.
Collaboration: Work with our operations team to align marketing efforts with upcoming events, grant projects, and community programs.
Sponsor Collaboration: Ensure we are for filling our sponsor requirements in terms of socials and giveback
Skills:
-Experience in social media management and digital marketing (charity or animal-related a plus).
-Confident in Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.
-Strong copywriting, storytelling, and visual design sense.
-Creative thinker who can turn ideas into campaigns that inspire.
-Passionate about dogs, community, and making a real difference to children with special needs
