Role Overview
Support the founder of an Australian consulting and wellness business with admin, travel coordination, and light bookkeeping in Xero. Your role is to help keep operations tidy, finances reconciled, and communication smooth while I travel.
Immediate Priority
Assist with flight cancellations and credits for an upcoming trip in December. Tracking correspondence, refund progress, and updating records.
Ongoing Responsibilities
• Reconcile transactions in Xero and match receipts
• Maintain chart of accounts and assist with tax preparation
• Track travel bookings, refunds, and credits in shared spreadsheets
• Maintain a simple task tracker and provide a short weekly update
• Suggest and help streamline tools or systems where appropriate
What You’ll Need
• Experience with Australian clients using Xero or QuickBooks
• Working knowledge of GST categories and BAS preparation (draft only)
• Excellent written English, high attention to detail, and confidentiality with data
• Comfortable using general technology. Current are: Gmail, 1Password, Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and Xero
What’s Offered
• Ongoing, long-term role with consistent hours (Around 5 hrs/week)
• USD $200/month to start, with review to $250/month after 3 months if work is strong
