Role Summary
The Bookkeeper plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple client accounts and supporting the U.S.-based Account Manager. This position ensures day-to-day accounting accuracy, timely reconciliations, and clear communication of financial data.

This role includes recording transactions, managing payables and receivables, reconciling bank and credit card statements, assisting with monthly reports, and supporting the preparation of financial documents for client delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in their accounting skills.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and payment posting.
• Assist Senior Bookkeeper in preparing monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain organized digital records and supporting documentation.
• Communicate clearly with the Account Manager regarding discrepancies, missing information, or client questions.
• Assist with payroll data entry and bonus tracking when applicable.
• Support audit preparation and assist with tax documentation as needed.
• Contribute to process improvement and workflow efficiency within the accounting team.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Compensation
• Salaried position; pay, commensurate on experience
