About Our Company:

We are a fabric retail company based in London, selling in store and online. We sell high quality fabrics from Europe all over the world and are looking to expand our online reach via our website. We are looking for a Website Manager to join our team, who will play a key role in managing and enhancing our online presence.

Job Summary:

The WordPress Website Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our WordPress website, including managing stock, uploading new items, and maintaining accurate and compelling product descriptions. This role requires technical proficiency in WordPress and Excel. The role has potential to expand into helping and managing our online presence as a whole including on social media.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly update and manage stock levels on the website, ensuring availability and accuracy of inventory.
- Upload new products to the website, including high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and relevant product information.
- Maintain and update product descriptions, ensuring they are engaging, accurate, and optimised for SEO.
- Monitor the website for issues, perform regular maintenance tasks, and implement updates to WordPress and various plugins as needed.
- Add homepage banners, promotions, and other content as needed.
- Perform basic website maintenance (e.g., checking for broken links, updating plugins).
- Ensure the website is secure, performing regular security checks and implementing necessary security measures.
- Potential expansion into managing our Etsy page also

Skills required:
• Experience managing WordPress + WooCommerce websites.
• Knowledge of product uploads and content management.
• Basic image editing skills
• Understanding of SEO basics.
• Strong attention to detail and good written English.
