Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our detailing company. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, high-quality service delivery, and a safe, productive work environment. This role requires leadership in managing staff, optimizing processes, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving business growth through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all detailing services, including scheduling, quality control, and vehicle inspections.
Develop and implement operational processes and standards to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety.
Manage and lead a team of detailers, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
Coordinate with clients to ensure service expectations are met and foster strong customer relationships.
Monitor operational costs, labor efficiency, inventory, and equipment maintenance to stay within budget.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to vehicle detailing.
Handle vendor and supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.
Analyze service performance data and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on operations, productivity, and customer satisfaction to senior management.
Address and resolve operational issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in automotive detailing, cleaning, or a related service industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of detailing equipment, cleaning chemicals, and best practices is highly preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational management software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
