While this is advertised as a virtual assistant, this is actually an Operations Manager position - however the skills you require are that of an EA.
We are Roger HQ - an online head office team for small/mid restaurants, to help them run like chains: accurate books, clear KPIs, financial reporting, better ops, team comms and marketing. We encourage restaurant owners to focus on customer experience and local marketing, while we handle the back end for them.
What's the back end?
- Finance (Bookkeeping & Financial Reports)
- HR & Culture (Employment agreements, hiring, training new staff, firing non performing staff, and getting the team on the same page)
- Operations (Helping the team fix problems like missing orders, calling emergency staff when needed, creating weekly KPI reports for stores, creating SOPs for staff)
- Marketing (Designing
Your job is to take full back-end ownership of 3 venues and make the numbers and the people move in the right direction. The store owners will treat you as a full-time resource who helps the running of their store.

What you get:
1. A competitive salary with room to grow as you take on more sites. In 6 months time you may take on 2 additional sites and be on 60,000 PHP
2. 13th month pay!
3. You will be working directly with the founder - we are a two person team (you and me!)
Hours are 10am - 7:30pm AEST (7am to 4:30pm PST) Monday to Friday.
Must-haves (non-negotiable)
1. Communication & Vibrancy is an absolute must have. You need to be chirpy, energetic, excited about the team! You need to be comfortable speaking to suppliers, business owners & staff. Restaurants in Australia often have staff who are not communicating, not interactive etc. We are helping build culture for the owners.
2. Design - you need to a great designer and versed in Adobe & Canva etc because you'll be designing material for them
3. Willing to learn new skills - I can teach you basic bookkeeping, how to create reports, how to use Xero etc - it's not hard, you just need to be willing to learn.
4. 3+years exp in a high pressure EA role or similar for entrepreneurs & founders.
5. Occasionally on call - the slack chat might go off after hours or on weekends - we might need you in an emergency
The tech you'll use
1. MailChimp or similar for EDMs
2. Canva & Adobe for design
3. Xero & DEXT for bookkeeping, also Syft in Xero for graphs
4. Lightspeed is the restaurant POS you'll use - again I can teach you
5. Google Sheets. for task management and analytics
6. Deputy for rostering & HR
7. Slack for comms
This job is a career move - its for someone who wants to be in control of 3 restaurants in an exciting start up and take ownership of the stores and their performance. You wont be a "task do-er" you'll be a tea
