Work Policy

The SOC Analyst position is 100% remote. We want you to be comfortable and happy, please work from wherever you’d like. Currently, the position has fixed working hours, in which the SOC Analyst is expected to be available and responsive. However, working hours are somewhat flexible. Employees must be aware of their environment to prevent data exfiltration (via cameras, bystanders, insecure networks, etc). This position includes opportunities for equity compensation, allowing employees to participate in the company's long-term growth and success.

Weekend Schedule Options

We are looking to add some redundancy to our SOC shifts, so multiple shift options are available for selection - depending on candidate availability.

1) Option A — Alternating Friday’s Weekends Only (1 weekend on, 1 off)

**Week A**
Day --- Shift (choose one)
Friday --- 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday --- 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Sunday --- 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

**Week B**
No work this week

-> 16hrs or 21hrs every other week.

2) Option B — Saturday + Sunday (Alternating Morning/Evening)

Services

Employees may be involved in multiple services and projects, but will typically always be involved in security monitoring and may have one other primary project that they are working on at a time.

- Security Engineering (Configuring security software)
- Security detection rule writing (YARA, STAR, YAML, Sigma, etc..)

Security Operations Center Monitoring

ZenitechCS produces unique software products and also provides cybersecurity services. One of the services that ZenitechCS provides is a 24/7 (24/24) security monitoring service. ZenitechCS needs to be able to provide triage capabilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We achieve this by hire global staff and having redundant security analysts in each location. The work will primarily consist of receiving and triaging alerts that are visible via Kibana and Grafana dashboards, with an Elasticsearch backend.

Compensation

Salary range:
- Shift A: 15,000 - 25,000 / month (peso)
- Shift B: 30,000 - 40,000 / month (peso)
- Shift C: 30,000 - 40,000 / month (peso)
- Shift D: 60,000 - 80,000 / month (peso)
The salary we offer for each candidate will be determined by an assessment of the candidate's overall qualifications for the job.
