???? About FlowState Film Co

FlowState Film Co is a Melbourne-based creative production studio working across fitness, wellness, and lifestyle brands. We produce short-form social content, brand films, and creative campaigns for brands plus our own in-house YouTube and Instagram content.

We’re looking for a talented freelance video editor and virtual assistant to join us on a project basis, helping us turn around short-form edits and handle light admin tasks. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and excited to grow with a small team of filmmakers — you’ll fit right in.

???? What You’ll Do

Editing Tasks (70%)

Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

Add captions, music, colour corrections, and graphics following our brand style
Assemble social reels for clients and FlowState projects
Prepare final exports for Instagram & YouTube
Organise and label footage, project files, and drive folders

Virtual Assistant Tasks (30%)
Help manage content calendars in Notion
Upload videos, thumbnails, and metadata to YouTube/Instagram
Assist with asset organisation (Google Drive, MotionArray, etc.)
Research music, trends, or creative references


???? What We’re Looking For
1+ year of editing experience (short-form preferred)
Skilled in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro or Capcut
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style
Organised, communicative, and reliable
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Can meet deadlines and take feedback well
Comfortable working to Australian time zones (AEST)
