JOB OVERVIEW

Company: The D&S Marketing Firm
Location: Remote (Preferred working hours: 9 AM – 5 PM Central Time)
Role Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Starting Pay: $6–$8 USD per hour (based on experience and skill level)

About Us:

The D&S Marketing Firm is a fast-growing digital marketing agency helping small and medium-sized service businesses dominate their local markets through web design, CRM automation, and paid media systems.

We’re expanding our leadership team and looking for a Director of Operations — someone with the initiative, strategic thinking, and systems-driven mindset to help us scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Work directly with the COO and Admin/Project Manager who oversee daily operations, client projects, and internal task management.
    •    Create, refine, and optimize SOPs, automations, and backend systems for smoother onboarding, fulfillment, and communication.
    •    Review current operations and develop new strategies to increase productivity, efficiency, and team alignment.
    •    Manage workflows across platforms like ClickUp, GoHighLevel, and Zapier, ensuring all projects move smoothly from start to finish.
    •    Collaborate with leadership to identify bottlenecks, propose automation opportunities, and implement improvements.
    •    Bring creative problem-solving and the ability to think ahead — not just to execute, but to innovate and lead change.

Requirements:
    •    1–2 years of experience in marketing agency operations or tech-based project management.
    •    Proficiency with GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Zapier, and automation tools.
    •    Familiarity with Facebook Ads or paid media campaign management.
    •    Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
    •    A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Must-Have Traits & Qualities
    •    Ownership mindset (mini-COO): Acts without hand-holding, sets priorities, closes loops, reports outcomes not activity.
    •    Systems builder: Can turn chaos into SOPs, templates, checklists, and scalable workflows.
    •    Automation fluency: Confident with GoHighLevel, Zapier, ClickUp; knows when to automate vs. keep manual.
    •    Operational rigor: Loves documentation, version control, QA, and process audits.
    •    Marketing-literate: 1–2 yrs in agency ops; understands funnels, offers, CAC/ROAS, and Facebook Ads basics (can check setups, naming, budgets, pixels, events).
    •    Analytical & metric-driven: Builds dashboards, tracks SLAs, conversion steps, and no-show rates; recommends fixes from data.
    •    Communication & leadership: Clear async writing, crisp standups, manages up to COO, guides PM/Admin & specialists.
    •    Problem-solving bias: Anticipates bottlenecks, proposes options with tradeoffs, ships v1 fast then iterates.
    •    Client-safe polish: Can join client calls if needed; protects timelines and scope.
    •    Time discipline: Reliable 9–5 CT, responsive, maintains focus in a remote environment.

What We Offer:
    •    Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
    •    Competitive starting pay of $6–$8 per hour (depending on experience).
    •    Opportunity for pay increases, leadership growth, and employee benefits after 3 months.
    •    A chance to work directly with the executive team and make a real impact on the company’s growth and systems.
