Ready to join a vibrant team of women who are changing how people store and save fresh food? Food Huggers is looking for a skilled Operations Support Virtual Assistant to support our Logistics Manager with order management, 3PL coordination, and day-to-day operational tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations support, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and Canva. Experience with OMS/WMS platforms (Extensiv, Deposco, ShipBob, or similar) is a big plus.
Mission
Support the Logistics Manager by providing exceptional operational coordination and administrative support, enabling data-driven decision making while maintaining our company's commitment to operational excellence.
Your Goals
- Ensure orders in our Order Manager System are processed accurately and on time
- Coordinate with 3PL partners to resolve shipping and fulfillment issues
- Track and update daily operational tasks in Asana for visibility and accountability
- Provide clear, concise updates to the Logistics Manager on order status, bottlenecks, and next steps
- Create simple reports, spreadsheets, and checklists that support smooth operations

Operations Savvy
- Hands-on experience with OMS/WMS or related logistics tools
- Comfortable working with 3PLs to resolve order/shipping issues
- Strong Google Sheets skills (tracking, formulas, reporting basics)
Communication Excellence
- Writes clear, concise Slack updates and task notes in Asana
- Proactively communicates blockers and escalates when needed
- Keeps a professional yet approachable tone in all communication

- Maintains consistency and accountability in a part-time, remote setup
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or VA support roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- E-commerce or retail operations experience preferred
Skill Requirement
- Extensiv Order Manager (or similar OMS)
- WMS exposure (ShipBob, Deposco, Extensiv WM a plus)
- Google Sheets & Docs
- Asana, Slack, Canva
