Key Responsibilities
Record and reconcile all property-related financial transactions in AppFolio and QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and owner distributions accurately and on schedule
Review ledgers, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure data integrity
Prepare and send monthly owner statements and financial reports
Handle tenant move-outs, refunds, and security deposit dispositions
Support property managers with accounting and reporting needs
Performance Indicators
Accuracy and timeliness of owner reports
Completion time for security deposit dispositions
Number of accounting errors or corrections required
Who You Are
Experienced: 2+ years of bookkeeping or property accounting experience
Technically Strong: Hands-on experience in AppFolio and QuickBooks Online (required)
Detail-Oriented: You catch small errors before they become big problems

Communicative: You ask questions early, communicate clearly, and close loops

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday
9 AM–5 PM CST (10 PM–6 AM Philippines)
Fully remote
Compensation & Benefits
$6–$8 USD per hour (based on experience and performance)
Paid vacation, PTO, and sick days
13th-month pay (for PH-based employees)

Hiring Process

-Bookkeeping Comprehension Check:
-Candidates who pass the initial interview will be asked to complete a short skills assessment designed to evaluate their understanding of bookkeeping concepts and their ability to work with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and AppFolio.
Final Interview:
Qualified candidates will be invited to a video interview with our Managing Broker.
