Short Form Video Editor Needed

We’re looking for a reliable Short Form Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. You’ll be responsible for editing high-quality short form videos per month (under 2 minutes each) for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

The ideal candidate has experience creating engaging, viral-style content that captures attention quickly and keeps viewers watching until the end. You’ll need to be confident working with raw footage, cutting and arranging clips, adding on-screen stickers/emojis, inserting subtitles or titles, and using overlays or transitions to make the videos dynamic and easy to follow.

Responsibilities:
- Edit high quality short form videos for social media platforms
- Add captions, emojis, text overlays and visual effects where needed
- Reorder and trim clips for pacing and storytelling
- Maintain consistent quality, tone and visual identity across all edits
- Communicate efficiently with the team, responding promptly during working hours
- Deliver revisions quickly when needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience editing short form social media videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts etc.)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and audience engagement
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Fast turnaround time and excellent communication (IMPORTANT)
- Experience with CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or similar editing software
- Be able to export videos in high quality
