We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial records for both our internal operations and one of our client accounts.

This role involves cleaning up and reconciling historical records, optimizing QuickBooks systems, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial data. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with QuickBooks Online, and confident managing both company and client bookkeeping.

This position starts as a project-based engagement with potential for long-term support across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records for both company and client accounts
- Record and categorize all income, expenses, and journal entries in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances to ensure accuracy
- Review financial data for errors, inconsistencies, and areas needing correction
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow tracking, and expense management
- Set up and maintain efficient systems and workflows to improve bookkeeping accuracy
- Collaborate with management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data

Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping clean-up and reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple accounts with accuracy and confidentiality
