Accounting Consultant (PRN / As-Needed Basis)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to audit and ensure the accuracy of our QuickBooks financial records on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and verifying our bookkeeping processes to confirm data integrity, compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct periodic audits and reviews of QuickBooks data to ensure accuracy and proper classification of transactions.

* Verify that bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts are fully reconciled.

* Assess and correct errors in chart of accounts, journal entries, and financial statement alignment.

* Review accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, and expense categorizations for consistency and accuracy.

* Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or compliance risks and provide actionable recommendations.

* Prepare a detailed audit summary report outlining findings, corrections, and process improvement suggestions.

* Provide QuickBooks training or support to internal staff if needed.

* Coordinate with external CPAs or tax preparers to ensure all financial records align with year-end and tax requirements.
