JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a Europe-based web development agency serving many small businesses in Norway. We build fast, modern sites (JavaScript/HTML, React, Vite, Next.js) and need a full-time Digital Advertising Specialist to run and grow paid campaigns for our clients.

You’ll own performance on Google Ads and Meta Ads: planning, setup, daily optimization, and reporting. Most campaigns target the Norwegian market. You can draft copy in English and translate it to Norwegian with our tools. We’ll provide other tools as needed (e.g., Semrush).

This role is hands-on and technical. You must be able to install, verify, and troubleshoot tracking directly in code: Google Tag Manager, GA4 conversions, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API (including server-side where appropriate). We’ll provide AI coding helpers (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex) to speed things up—while you still validate with test events and debuggers.

What you’ll do
• Plan, launch, and optimize Search, Display, and Performance Max campaigns
• Manage Facebook/Instagram campaigns alongside Google Ads
• Run keyword and audience research; write concise ad copy
• Set up goals, events, and conversion tracking; keep data clean and trustworthy
• Produce clear performance reports with practical recommendations
• Collaborate with developers when needed

Must-haves
• Current Google Ads certification (Skillshop). Any active cert such as Search, Display, Video, Shopping, Apps or Measurement.
• Current Meta certification related to ads. Media Buying Professional preferred
• Advanced Meta Ads experience (beyond basics) across campaign setup, optimization, and measurement.
• Server-side Conversions API (CAPI) know-how (GTM server-side or equivalent) and ability to implement/validate it.
• 2+ years managing Google Ads for multiple clients (agency or freelance)
• Proven experience implementing GTM/GA4/Meta Pixel/Conversions in code (React/Vite/Next.js)
• Strong grasp of CPC/CTR/ROAS/CPA and A/B testing
• Comfortable using AI tools for coding and translation
• Excellent written English; willing to use tools to deliver Norwegian ad copy

• Compensation: USD $600–$1,000 per month, based on experience and fit
