Finance Manager Airbnb Property Management

We’re hiring a skilled Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and finance operations for a growing UK-based property company. You’ll work closely with our existing finance assistants and be responsible for maintaining accurate financials, ensuring all reports and reconciliations are error-free, and helping improve our financial systems and workflows.

We manage a portfolio of 50+ short-term rental apartments in the UK (mainly in Liverpool) under several partnerships and companies. Our systems are well established; we use Xero, Google Sheets, and Stripe, with support from our remote team in the Philippines.

We’re looking for someone who’s not just an accountant, but a hands-on manager who can lead, check, and improve our financial processes daily.

???? Key Responsibilities
   •   Review and verify all financial work prepared by our existing finance assistants
   •   Maintain daily accuracy in all bank reconciliations (Xero)
   •   Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow summaries, etc.)
   •   Track income and expenses per property, ensuring correct allocations
   •   Reconcile Stripe and Airbnb payouts
   •   Identify and correct errors proactively before reports are submitted
   •   Communicate directly with management (UK time zone) with daily updates
   •   Continuously improve systems and suggest better workflows for efficiency

???? Requirements
   •   Proven experience as a Finance Manager / Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper
   •   Strong knowledge of Xero (essential)
   •   Excellent attention to detail — accuracy is everything in this role
   •   Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
   •   Ability to work independently and lead a small remote finance team
   •   Comfortable working UK hours
   •   Reliable internet and professional work setup

   •   Part-time role (initially)
   •   Monday to Friday — 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM UK time
   •   Potential to become full-time depending on performance
