About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced AI Automation Builder to develop and deploy smart automation workflows focused primarily on AI-powered inbound and outbound call systems.

The core of this project is to create AI calling agents capable of handling customer interactions, booking appointments, and scheduling follow-up calls automatically. You’ll be responsible for integrating these agents with scheduling tools, CRMs, and lead management systems to ensure seamless communication and data tracking.

This is a remote, one-time contract position with flexible hours and clearly defined deliverables.

Project Scope

Design, build, and integrate AI voice agents for inbound and outbound calling (using platforms such as Twilio, ElevenLabs, VoxAI, OpenAI Voice, or similar).

Program agents to handle customer inquiries, gather key information, and book appointments or calls automatically through scheduling tools like Calendly, Google Calendar, or CRM-based systems.

Set up workflows that log call data, update CRM records, and send follow-up confirmations via SMS or email.

Build automation flows that link voice agents to backend tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n for smooth data transfer.

Test, optimize, and document all processes to ensure reliability and natural conversational flow.

Provide clear setup documentation and light training for internal team use.

Key Deliverables

Fully functional AI calling system for inbound and outbound lead handling.

Appointment-booking integration with scheduling and CRM tools.

Workflow automations connecting all related systems (CRM, email, voice API, and data storage).

Written documentation and a brief demo/training session.

One revision round post-deployment for optimization.

Required Skills

Proven experience with AI automation tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), or n8n.

Hands-on experience building AI voice or phone agents using tools like Twilio, OpenAI Voice, ElevenLabs, or similar APIs.

Understanding of call routing, voice-to-text (ASR), and text-to-speech (TTS) systems.

Experience connecting CRMs, scheduling software, and voice APIs.

Strong grasp of API integrations, webhooks, and logic flows.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or Node.js) for custom API and automation development.

Experience with lead generation or appointment booking workflows.

Familiarity with AI-driven customer support or call center technologies.

Understanding of data privacy and voice compliance regulations (TCPA, GDPR, etc.).

Contract Details

Type: One-time remote contract

Duration: Based on project scope (estimated X weeks)

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and deliverables
