About The Lucy Rose Clinic

We are Australia’s leading telehealth clinic, specialising in thyroid and hormonal health, with a growing portfolio of wellness and health-related companies. We’re expanding and are seeking a smart, detail-focused bookkeeper to manage financial operations across multiple entities with precision and efficiency.

About the Role

You will manage two Australian entities and one small NZ entity, handling bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, and reconciliation.
This is a senior-level position — we’re looking for someone who can own the numbers, spot discrepancies instantly, and work closely with leadership to ensure clean, accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly or quarterly cash flow / health indicator reports
Reconcile loan accounts and balance sheet items
Produce weekly/monthly performance reports for directors
Handle ad hoc accounting analysis and reporting tasks
Ongoing Responsibilities
Manage fortnightly and monthly payroll across 2 Australian entities (occasionally NZ payroll)
Handle Australian payroll compliance (superannuation, maternity leave, PAYG, STP, leave tracking)
Prepare BAS/IAS
Maintain accurate contracts, commission and bonus records (training provided)
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timeliness and compliance
Prepare and lodge monthly state payroll tax
Onboard new staff in Xero and payroll systems
Perform daily and weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
Control and reconcile petty cash and reimbursements
Support credit control and monitor payment plans
Maintain daily cashflow reports, support budgeting and forecasting
Provide financial and reporting support to management as needed
Manage small NZ entity accounts (low volume)

Tools You’ll Use

Xero (Advanced User) – multiple entities, payroll, bank rules, tracking
eWay & WooCommerce (bonus) – reconciliation and payment tracking
Google Sheets / Excel – reporting and analysis
Slack / Asana / Pipedrive – communication and coordination
Deputy HR

Who You Are

5+ years’ Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience
Advanced Xero proficiency (multiple entities and payroll)
Excellent understanding of Australian accounting & payroll compliance
Strong attention to detail — you don’t miss a single cent
Excellent written and spoken English (clear, professional, neutral accent)
Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work independently
Confident communicating with directors and accountants
Highly organised, methodical, and reliable — “gets it done”
Bonus: Experience reconciling eWay, WooCommerce, or similar
