Behind the scenes, our team relies on automation and smart systems to deliver seamless client experiences and efficient team coordination.

We’re looking for a Fractional Technical Officer to join our growing operations and ensure that our automation infrastructure—particularly through Zapier—runs smoothly and efficiently every week.

What You’ll Do

Weekly Zapier Audits
Review, test, and optimize all active Zaps for performance, accuracy, and error reduction.
Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, or failures in workflows and propose immediate solutions.
Document updates and provide concise weekly summaries on automation performance.
Automation Management & Optimization
Build, refine, and troubleshoot new Zaps and integrations connecting tools like GoHighLevel, Slack, Gmail, Google Sheets, and internal platforms.
Implement best practices for error handling, version control, and audit logging.
Maintain API connections and ensure integrations stay up to date after platform updates.

On-Call Support
Be available on-call (by arrangement) for critical automation or technical issues that disrupt operations.
Troubleshoot urgent Zap failures, webhook errors, or third-party automation malfunctions.
System Documentation
Maintain a structured automation map and process documentation for internal reference.
Communicate technical updates clearly to non-technical tea ---------- mbers.

A systems-minded thinker with strong Zapier expertise.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to self-manage projects with minimal supervision.
Strong communicator who can translate technical findings into plain English.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a mix of structured systems and creative problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with Zapier (Expert Level) — ideally managing 50+ active Zaps across multiple apps.
Familiarity with API integrations, webhooks, and tools like GoHighLevel, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, and ClickUp (preferred).
Strong background in workflow optimization, automation logic, and error handling.
Experience working as a fractional CTO/technical automation consultant is a plus.
Available for weekly audits and on-call technical support (compensated hourly or per-i ---------- ).

Compensation
Flexible contract (hourly or retainer-based) depending on experience.
Estimated 2–5 hours per week, with additional on-call compensation as needed.
