JOB OVERVIEW

About Us:
Let’s Dabble is an online art education company led by professional palette-knife artist Jennifer Vranes. We create professional online tutorial videos that teach students how to paint bold, textured landscapes using palette knives. Our step-by-step lessons are warm, inspiring, and easy to follow—helping thousands of students (mostly women ages 55+) gain confidence and create artwork they’re proud of.

The Role:
We’re looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw art class footage into polished, engaging tutorials for our students. Because our main audience is women 55+, the editing style should be clear, friendly, and easy to follow—removing distractions while keeping the energy inspiring. You’ll also edit shorter highlight clips for social media that capture the joy and creativity of painting.

Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form art class recordings into clear, professional tutorials.
- Add branded intros/outros, transitions, and text overlays (paint names, tips, step highlights, etc.).
- Cut out mistakes, pauses, or repetition while keeping the teaching flow natural.
- Create engaging highlight clips for social media.
- Organize project files and deliver edited videos on time.

Requirements:
- Proven experience editing educational/tutorial content (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong sense of pacing, clarity, and storytelling.
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creativity that matches our warm, inspiring art brand.
- Motion graphics or simple animations (arrows, highlights, text emphasis).
- Audio clean-up and sound leveling.
- Color correction.

How We’ll Choose the Right Person:
- To find the best fit, shortlisted candidates will complete a paid test project. We’ll provide raw class footage of an art lesson, and you’ll create:
- A polished lesson video (student-friendly, easy to follow).
- A short highlight clip for social media.
- This will show us your editing style, clarity, and ability to adapt to our audience.

Compensation & Details:
Full-time or part-time (depending on your availability).
Competitive salary per hour, based on skills and experience.
Long-term role with growth opportunities

How to Apply:
- Send us your portfolio or samples of your editing work.
- Tell us what editing software you use.
- Share why you’d be a great fit for editing art class tutorials for women 55+.

We’re excited to find someone who can help us inspire thousands of painters through beautifully edited video lessons.
