Job Description:

An IVR is a medical facility agent, who will primarily take the lead in reviewing and verifying insurance policies in relation to the specialized needs of all Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy clients. The IVR will ensure patient care quality is highest and service goes smoothly by having strong knowledge on fundamental insurance policy provisions, e.g., eligibility and coverage of patients, treatments and procedures, its proper interpretation and application. The IVR must also have a strong command in the use of information technology applications specific to the industry.

Candidate must also possess:

• Insurance verifications; working knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medicare, and Workers compensation
• Contacting Insurance companies to obtain eligibility and authorization requests
• Data entry
• Communicating with other members of the team regarding patients benefits and accounts
• Handling various other administrative tasks
• This position requires someone who can work autonomously, but who also can work well and communicate effectively with a team

• Basic Mathematical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
• Ability to stay focused on tasks without getting distracted
• Adaptability to change and a fast paced environment
• The ability to multitask and work well with others on the team
• Have the ability to think and respond quickly, be persistent, and have good control of conversations over the phone
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Contractor Computer Spec Requirements:

• Windows 10/11 or newer
• Processor - Intel (Core i5 8th Gen, Year 2017)/AMD (Ryzen, Year 2017)/M1 or newer
• RAM – 8GB or more
• Hard Drive - SSD
• Network connection - Ethernet connection to network (wired). Fiber internet provider recommended.
• Webcam, USB headset
• Dual monitor is helpful
