Do you love turning raw footage into scroll-stopping videos?
If you’re great at editing podcasts, clips, and short-form content that actually gets people to watch - this could be the role for you.
We’re a fast-moving early-stage startup in the creative and advertising space, and we’re looking for a part-time Video Editor to join our team. You’ll work closely with our CMO and CEO to bring stories to life across podcasts, reels, and social media videos.
If things go well, there’s room to grow into a full-time role.
What you’ll be doing
- Editing multi-camera podcast episodes - syncing audio, switching angles, removing mistakes, and adding branded intros/outros.
- Creating podcast clips for social (9x16 vertical format) with captions, b-roll, and graphics.
- Editing a social video series (shot in an “Office-style” format) - combining interviews, voiceovers, and cinematic b-roll into narrative-driven videos.
- Editing miscellaneous social media videos for our brand.
- Collaborating with our creative team on story flow, pacing, and visual consistency.
- Keeping organized files and project timelines in sync with the team.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience editing in Premiere Pro (required)
- Bonus if you know After Effects or Jitter
- Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and rhythm
- Familiar with YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels formats
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain consistent visual branding
- Good communication skills - we’ll collaborate via Slack and meet weekly
We’re flexible on hours, as long as deadlines are met and communication is clear.
Details
- ~20 hours/week (some weeks may be more, some may be less)
- $80 USD/week
- Weekly sync meeting with our CMO & CEO
- Paid weekly via bank transfer
If you prefer using a simpler editor (like CapCut or Descript) for parts of your workflow, that’s fine - as long as the quality stays top-notch.
How to apply
Send us:
1. A short message introducing yourself and your editing experience.
2. A link to your portfolio, including:
- At least one edited multi-cam podcast episode
- A few podcast clips or Reels/TikToks you’ve edited
- Any story-driven or social videos you’re proud of
We’re excited to see your work - show us your best edits and how you think about storytelling!
