JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a super detail-oriented person that can manage the schedule and tasks of CEO level executives in an exciting field? If so, this may be an interesting opportunity for you. Here, you would be working as the virtual assistant to the CEO of a U.S. based company focused on the development and management of land based aquaculture (fish farm) facilities, among other investments and projects. The CEO of this company is also the Principal of a global private equity fund that invests in the Blue Economy (Oceans and Aquaculture), and also provided global advisory work to select clients. Given the CEO's multiple responsibilities, the main function will be to keep track of the CEO's tasks and schedule, and to assist with tracking tasks of those under the CEO.

Daily responsibilities would include:
- maintain and update a task list for the CEO to assist the CEO with staying on task for his own responsibilities and those underneath the CEO;
- Assist with file management and organization of project materials;
- Interact, on behalf of the CEO, with the company's CFO and bookkeepers on project costs, and expense reimbursements
- Calendar management of the CEO;
- Assisting with crafting email responses for review by the CEO

Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- Our company operates on the Microsoft 365 platform. Given that, we would request (but not required) that any task management apps or software are either 365 compatible or are actually on the 365 platform;
- Comfort level with utilizing Excel spreadsheets, but no requirement for deep modeling (mainly for task and sometimes budget data)
- Comfort utilizing MS Word and the Track Changes function for document drafting, review and correction;

In addition to having excellent English skills, you will need to use the applications we have listed below. You will not need to be an expert in all of them, but you will need to at least be familiar with most of them:
MS Word
Excel
Powerpoint
MS Teams
MS Task (and other MS task managing options)

We are also looking for someone to grow with us as we expand, so if you have the following skills, it can help you (but are not absolutely required):
- familiarity with Quickbooks;
- Deeper knowledge of Excel and formulas

We also work in a fast paced industry and environment, so it would be important that you are:
- a fast learner;
- pay incredible attention to detail; and
- follow instructions to the letter

Work Schedule and Holiday:
We believe this will start out between part time and full time, but likely moving towards full time in the very short term;
We will of course honor most Filipino holidays;
We are U.S. based on the east coast, which is 12 hours behind the Filipines, so we are interested to hear how you plan to manage the major time difference and experience you have had managing this in the past

Career potential:
You will be working directly with the CEO. As our business grows, you will have the opportunity to grow with us, including managing additional Virtual Assistants where needed.
