JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help manage the flow of inbound and outbound shipments, working directly with our overseas trading partners, freight forwarders, and sales and warehouse teams in Los Angeles.

What You’ll Do
As the Remote Logistics Coordinator, you’ll manage daily import and export activities through email, Teams, and shared dashboards. You’ll ensure the company, warehouse staff, and sales teams always have a clear view of what’s arriving, what’s shipping out, and what’s next.

Inbound Shipments
- Receive daily emails from overseas partners with shipping details — container packing lists, ETAs, quantities, and box counts.
- Track ocean shipments with ocean carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely arrivals.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for container delivery appointments and drayage schedules to our Los Angeles warehouse.
- Communicate arrival schedules clearly to our warehouse team for staffing and space planning.

Outbound Shipments
- Arrange transportation for customer orders (both prepaid and collect) using routing guides and delivery instructions from customers.
- Ensure on-time deliveries that comply with PO delivery windows, appointment requirements, and labeling or paperwork standards.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.

Dashboard & Reporting
- Maintain a central logistics dashboard that tracks inbound container status, outbound shipments, and warehouse planning metrics.
- Use Acumatica ERP to record inbound and outbound shipment details accurately.
- Provide daily updates via Office 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel) for full transparency across departments.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or import/export operations.
- Familiarity with ocean freight, drayage, and domestic trucking (LTL/FTL).
- Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Excel.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable in maintaining up-to-date shipment information.
- Excellent communicator — responsive, concise, and comfortable coordinating across time zones.
- (Bonus) Experience with any TMS (Transportation Management System) or shipment tracking platform.
