Senior Wed Developer

We are seeking a Senior Website Developer with a strong focus on user experience (UX) and e-commerce functionality to join our growing digital team. This role requires a creative yet analytical mind capable of bringing websites to life through exceptional front-end development, seamless user journeys, and strategic e-commerce design.

You’ll collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to craft conversion-driven websites that not only look stunning but perform flawlessly across devices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using WordPress and Elementor.

Build custom themes, templates, and dynamic layouts with a focus on scalability and performance.

Implement and manage e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce or similar) including product setup, checkout optimization, and integrations.

Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, high-quality, and user-friendly websites.

Ensure all websites meet UX best practices, accessibility standards, and mobile responsiveness.

Optimize site speed, SEO structure, and technical performance across platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Stay current with emerging web technologies, tools, and UX/UI trends.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in web development, preferably in an agency or e-commerce environment.

Advanced proficiency in WordPress and Elementor Pro (including custom widgets, global templates, and theme builder).

Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and how to implement them in a development environment.

Experience with WooCommerce or other major e-commerce platforms.

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, Google Tag Manager, and analytics integrations.

Strong eye for design, layout, and detail.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus Skills

Experience with API integrations and automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.)

Familiarity with Adobe XD or Figma for interpreting design files.

Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.

Knowledge of website hosting, DNS, and migration processes.
