WordPress & AWS Site Manager

Overview

Keep two sites online, fast, and secure:

---------- — WordPress on WP Engine

---------- — hosted on AWS

AI-assisted coding (Copilot/Cursor/Replit/etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safe WordPress updates (core/plugins/themes) using staging ? live + backups.

Basic AWS tasks (instance upkeep, SSL, snapshots, DNS/Route 53 or similar).

U ---------- monitoring and quick response when issues pop up.

Light theme/plugin tweaks (PHP/JS/CSS) as needed.

Keep a short change log.

Must-Haves

Solid WordPress admin experience on managed hosts (e.g., WP Engine).

Comfortable with basic AWS & Linux server basics.

Knows DNS, SSL, and backups/restores.

Clear English (Slack/Loom) + reliable internet.

Nice-to-Have

Cloudflare/CloudFront, simple Git deploys.

Familiarity with AI tools to speed up small coding tasks.

Compensation & Hours

Competitive PH rate. Include your hourly rate and weekly availability (10–20 hrs).

13th month + PH holidays after probation (long-term role).
