AI-Assisted Video Editor / Clip Repurposing Operator (Full-Time Remote)

About the Role:

Looking for a reliable video editor who enjoys structured work and consistency.
The job is focused on repurposing long-form content (podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews) into short, engaging clips for social media.

This is not a one-off creative project — it’s a daily, process-driven role. You’ll follow a clear workflow, improve speed and output quality, and help build a small, efficient studio operation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Transcribe long videos using tools like Descript or OpusClip
• Use ChatGPT or Claude to identify the best ---------- nts and hooks
• Cut and edit short clips (20–60 seconds) using CapCut Pro, Descript, or OpusClip
• Add captions, background music, and simple branding (logo, colors, fonts)
• Create thumbnails or cover frames in Canva
• Upload or schedule finished clips and track performance
• Continuously refine style and pacing based on feedback and analytics

Ideal Candidate:
• Has solid experience with CapCut, Descript, or OpusClip
• Understands social-media video pacing and engagement (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
• Comfortable following systems, templates, and repeatable workflows
• Organized, consistent, and delivers on time
• Open to learning AI-based tools for scripting, hooks, and optimization
• Interested in a long-term, stable position, not random freelance gigs
* Self motivator and self learner willing and able to refine processes and workflows

Tools You’ll Be Using:

CapCut Pro • Descript • OpusClip • ChatGPT • Claude • Canva • ElevenLabs (optional) • Metricool or Later (for scheduling)

Compensation:
• $500–600 USD/month (Full-time, 40 hrs/week) negotiable according to skill
• Stable long-term position with posible performance-based raises after 2–3 months
