Engagement Type: Full-time Contractor
Initial Review Period: 3 months
Reports to: Sourcing Manager

About the Company
We are a leading buyer's agent in Australia, specialising in investment properties across metropolitan and regional areas. Our team is dedicated to identifying and securing high-potential properties for our clients, backed by thorough research, detailed analysis and expert insights.

Role Overview
The Sourcing Assistant is an important part of our team, responsible for assisting in the initial due diligence and tracking of property deals to ensure they meet our standards. You will also handle ad hoc administrative and research tasks that support smooth sourcing operations.

This role involves regular communication with solicitors, conveyancers and sales agents, so strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You will need excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong working relationship with the Sourcing Manager. It’s a fast-paced role that suits someone organised, proactive and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete initial due diligence for incoming property deals as directed by the Sourcing Manager
- Track and update the progress of property deals from sourcing through to contract stage
- Prepare detailed summaries including property and agent comments, statistical analysis, quotes and risk assessments (such as flood or fire maps)
- Communicate professionally with solicitors, conveyancers and sales agents to confirm deal details, request information and support transactions
- Compile relevant documentation such as property comparisons and rental appraisal letters, maintaining organised records in Google Drive
- Assist with ad hoc administrative and research tasks to support sourcing and wider team operations
- Transition to assistant-level interactions with property agents after gaining experience
- Work closely with the Sourcing Manager to ensure clear communication and alignment on property evaluations

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in real estate or property-related work is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with Australian property tools (for example RP Data or CoreLogic) is highly regarded
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and deliver work efficiently
- Comfortable working closely with the Sourcing Manager in a one-on-one setting

Work Environment
- This is a remote role that requires a reliable internet connection during Australian business hours. Positions are available for Perth and Sydney time zones.
- This is a contractor role, not an employee position. You will be engaged under a service agreement and responsible for your own tax and insurance obligations.

Career Progression
You’ll receive one-on-one training and ongoing support, with opportunities to grow within the company.
