The Tae Kwon Do School of Excellence is a U.S.-based martial arts academy dedicated to empowering students of all ages through discipline, confidence, and physical fitness. We focus on youth development, after-school programs, and community outreach to make martial arts education accessible and impactful.
We’re seeking a talented Grant Writer to help us secure funding to expand our programs, support underprivileged youth, improve our facilities, and launch new community initiatives.
Position Overview
The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing the full grant application process. The ideal candidate has experience writing successful grants for U.S.-based schools, nonprofits, or youth development programs and can communicate the mission and impact of Tae Kwon Do School of Excellence effectively.
This is a remote, full-time position offering long-term stability and performance-based bonuses for successful grant awards.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify government, corporate, and private grant opportunities relevant to education, youth development, and community programs.
Write persuasive, well-structured grant proposals tailored to each funding source.
Prepare and organize supporting documentation, budgets, and narratives.
Maintain a database of all grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
Track and report on grant progress and follow-up requirements.
Work closely with management to align proposals with the organization’s goals and mission.
Qualifications
Proven grant writing experience, preferably for U.S.-based organizations.
Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong research and analytical abilities.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Familiarity with U.S. grant portals (e.g.,
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Work from home – flexible schedule with some overlap in U.S. business hours.
Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
Bonuses: Earn additional bonuses for each successfully awarded grant.
