Travel researcher, virtual personal assistant

I'm Mark, a 40-year old FilAm entrepreneur, seeking an assistant for travel planning & online research. You will be coordinating unique trip ideas, building detailed itineraries, and comparing quotes. You will be working with me and a few other assistants.

You should be dedicated, proactive, and resourceful, with excellent communication skills to contact others on my behalf. Creativity and organization are key to succeeding in this role, as you will often be tasked with creating plans quickly and coming up with ideas outside of normal travel itineraries. You will be contacting vendors, reading / posting on forums, and exploring travel ideas that are not readily available. The more creative - the better! You must also be responsive, available for travel emergencies, and comfortable working longer hours or outside traditional schedules.

I am based in Asia so you will be working normal Philippines daytime hours - NOT USA Hours.

Qualifications:
A college degree and reliable internet connection.
Proven international travel experience (domestic-only travel is not sufficient).
Passion for travel, with experience in long-term backpacking a plus.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal - you will be making calls and responding to emails.
A flexible schedule - not strict, but aim to work 45/hrs a week to be successful.

Compensation:
The starting salary is $1,250 to $1,000/month depending on experience, with a minimum two months bonus for the first calendar year of work. Exceptional performance will result in higher bonuses, and opportunities for growth in both salary and responsibilities. Salary is paid every month via wise.
