We are seeking a skilled Video editor to join our team and help produce for our Youtube Channels. We produce between 5 - 10 videos per week averaging between 10 - 30 minutes of run time. The ideal candidate will have experience editing videos, including templated and custom motion graphics as required, Engaging animations & motion graphics, Multi-cam editing, Colour Grading, Repurposing and Resizing to different platforms, enhancing sound quality, and ensuring a smooth, polished final product.
You'll be responsible for editing the end-to-end videos provided, taking revision requests and incorporating them into the final product, and you will have the opportunity to provide suggestions to help improve the channels. You must have the ability to replicate and eventually improve on our current videos.

Pay close attention to:
1. How the camera's zoom in on key words,
2. transitions
3. Use of Screen Captures,
4. motion graphics
5. minimal sound effects.
Responsibilities:
- Edit between 4 - 6 videos per week meeting the requirements as directed including but not limited to:
- Add Zooming and Panning
- Fast Cuts and Transitions
- Audio Synching - 2 audio sources
- Pacing - Has a great eye and feel for YouTube Pacing
- Color Grading
- Adding relevant b-roll footage at the right time if required (we use minimal B-roll)
- Adding text or motion graphics
- ensure high-quality video & audio.
- Use Professional Video Editing Software (Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Collaborate with the team looking for opportunities to improve the show.
- Manage and store episode files and assets on our Google Drive
- Design thumbnails
- Integrate tools as required.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Video editing software
- Proficient in Thumbnail design
- There is video & audio editing involved, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable with both
- Basic design skills for creating episode graphics.
- Attention to detail - please respond to this post with your favorite movie
- Familiarity with engaging YouTube Videos
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Trial Edit Project:
- Selected candidates will be requested to provide an edit of 1 video to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements above.
- 1 revision will be required
- The Trial edit will be paid after completion.
- Final Candidate will have the opportunity to join our team full-time for 40 hours a week.
