Dental VA Team Lead

We’re a growing general & pediatric dental practice looking for an experienced Dental VA Team Lead to manage and mentor our virtual assistants — especially those handling insurance verification, eligibility, and breakdowns.

Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of dental virtual assistants (VAs).
Review and quality-check insurance verifications, breakdowns, and eligibility notes in Open Dental.
Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, and reference guides for tea ---------- mbers.
Onboard, train, and evaluate new VAs.
Monitor performance, accuracy, and timeliness of work; provide feedback and coaching.
Communicate with the office manager and doctor to streamline workflows.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
Host daily or weekly team check-ins to maintain accountability and productivity.
Keep training documentation organized and up-to-date.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of dental office experience (front desk, insurance, or admin).
Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, eligibility, and breakdowns.
Open Dental experience is highly preferred.
Experience training or supervising other tea ---------- mbers.
Excellent English (verbal and written).
Organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working independently and managing others remotely.
Tech-savvy — proficient with Google Workspace, Slack, and task management tools.
Must be available during U.S. business hours (CST).

Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, long-term position (32 hours/week)
Work hours aligned with U.S. Central Time (CST)
