JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney or senior paralegal to join our dynamic team, fast-pace and small law office located in US Eastern Standard Time Zone. Ideal candidate is an attorney licensed to practice law in the United States, with a strong preference for those licensed in the State of Indiana, California or other states, with a real estate and title search background and litigation, or at least US trained with significant US work experience. This is a remote opportunity, and we are eager to connect with a qualified licensed attorney or a senior paralegal to explore how you can contribute to our team.

Key responsibilities:
-Provide support to our attorney, including heavy document drafting and case management.
-Advanced legal research and writing and contract review.
-Assist in case preparation, court filings, and client communication.
-Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
-Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with quick turnaround times.
-Monitor case dockets and calendar deadlines.
-Administrative and clerical tasks, i.e. Answer and return client and court telephone calls, schedule notary public, case docketing, calendar and email management, etc.
-Manage complex administrative processes, data entry and appointment setting

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal profession.
-Knowledgeable in Clio (preferred), LexisNexis and legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe DC software.
-Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision and follows instruction.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
-Affluent in English language (both written and verbal).
-WORK HOURS (NO EXCEPTIONS): US Eastern Standard Time Zone 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with 1-hour lunch and 2-15 minute breaks.
