Social Media Manager

We are looking for someone to take the lead on managing our social media accounts, growing followers and boosting engagement.

Our business has been around for 25 years and has only recently started developing our social media presence and email marketing. We have 5 brands that have separate websites/social media that we are looking to develop.

Our primary social media platform is LinkedIn as we are a B2B business but are open to other platforms if it will generate attention/revenue. Each brand has its own LinkedIN page which our previous marketing manager started building. We are looking to grow them with interesting and engaging content.

We are also looking to develop our Instagram and Facebook accounts which have largely been ignored.

We want to grow our YouTube channel as well and so the successful candidate will be responsible for putting together scripts/plans for video content that can then be recycled into short form for other platforms.

The main focuses of this role will be:
Growing Followers Across All Social Media Accounts
Content Creation – Images, Videos, Social Media Posts
Increasing Engagement on Posts
Working with our office based colleagues to arrange content

This is a management level role with the successful candidate being responsible for developing our social media and email marketing strategy. You will be judged on the growth and results of these channels.

The salary for this job is $5.68 an hour (approximately $1,000 per month, based on an average of 176 working hours). Please note that the exact monthly pay may vary depending on the number of working days in that month.

For example:
If a month has 20 working days (160 hours), pay would be around $908.80.
If a month has 23 working days (184 hours), pay would be around $1,045.12.

We also offer paid vacation for UK public holidays. Payment is made weekly on Friday afternoons via Wise.

This is a long term position with our goal being to establish a full marketing team of VAs over the next 12 months. As this team grows, the highest performing member will be promoted to manage the other tea ---------- mbers.
