JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
We are a U.S.-based group of businesses with operations in real estate (mobile home parks, RV parks, short-term rentals) and consulting services, held under a trust structure.
Accuracy, confidentiality, and financial integrity are critical. You must be able to meet deadlines.
We currently manage our books in Excel, with monthly financials and reconciliations prepared internally. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant (CPA or equivalent certification) to take ownership of bookkeeping, reporting, and trust allocations — and to build systems that scale as we grow.
You must have excellent and efficient excel skills to manage the books.
This is a direct hire remote role (not through an agency). You will report directly to ownership and, over time, help build and manage a small accounting support team under your leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate double-entry bookkeeping for multiple entities (real estate, rentals, consulting, trust).
• Perform monthly cash and bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in Excel using our templates.
• Track trust activity: allocations, distributions, inter-company transfers, compliance with fiduciary requirements.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cost allocations across properties.
• Ensure clean audit trail with supporting documentation.
• Support tax preparation and year-end reporting in coordination with U.S. CPAs.
• Develop SOPs and process documentation for accounting workflows.
• Train, supervise, and review the work of additional bookkeepers once onboarded.

Qualifications
- CPA designation (or international equivalent) required (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA Philippines).
- 10+ years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated success in:
- Real estate accounting (parks, rentals, property management).
- Must have excellent and efficient excel skills
- Multi-entity business structures.
- Trust or fiduciary accounting.
- Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting and GAAP principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, reconciliations, financial models).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to meet deadlines. Potential to grow the team and grow with this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and manage junior staff.
- High standards of confidentiality and data security.
