Position Overview
The Senior Medical Biller will manage end-to-end billing functions across all clinical services. This includes claim submission, denial management, AR follow-up, coding verification, and payer communication. Monitor claim rejections and denials; perform in-depth root cause analysis and pursue appeals.
Conduct ongoing AR follow-up to ensure timely payments from payers and patients.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
Track key revenue cycle KPIs and prepare monthly reporting for leadership.
Stay current with federal, state, and payer-specific billing guidelines and regulations.
Recommend and implement process improvements in billing workflow and compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Experience with multiple EHR/billing platforms (e.g., Kareo, Athenahealth, AdvancedMD, or similar).
Familiarity with billing for multiple service lines such as primary care, behavioral health, and specialty services.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar credential preferred, but not required.
