About FundHub.ai

FundHub.ai is building a fully custom, AI-powered financial infrastructure that helps entrepreneurs access business funding through intelligent underwriting, automation, and analytics.
We are no longer using no-code or drag-and-drop tools. The goal is to create a completely custom-coded CRM and automation platform written from the ground up inside VS Code.
Everything—from client management and deal flow to AI-driven decision logic—will exist in our own codebase. This platform will become a core asset of the company and the foundation for future fintech products.

Role Overview

We are looking for a VS Code Engineer who can build the FundHub.ai system architecture from scratch. You will develop a custom CRM, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that replace GoHighLevel and all other third-party automation tools.
This position requires an engineer who understands both the technical and business value of proprietary systems and who can write clean, maintainable code that scales.

Responsibilities

Design and build the entire FundHub.ai CRM in React or Next.js with a Node.js backend.
Create secure APIs connecting to OpenAI, Airtable, Vector Databases, and analytics tools.
Replace all low-code automations with modular, custom logic written in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Integrate AI functionality for automated underwriting, communication, and scoring.
Set up databases (PostgreSQL or MongoDB) and vector memory (Pinecone or Qdrant).
Implement authentication, permissions, and data management layers.
Connect performance dashboards through Looker Studio and track user behavior with Microsoft Clarity.
Maintain version control and documentation through GitHub and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

Advanced experience in JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js.
Proficiency in React or Next.js for building modern front-end interfaces.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data structures, and webhooks.
Experience working in VS Code with Git integration and structured project organization.
Ability to design and connect relational or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with OpenAI or other LLM APIs and vector database integrations.
Clear written communication and consistent delivery discipline.

Preferred Background

Previous work building full-stack applications from scratch.
Experience in fintech, CRM development, or automation systems.
Understanding of AI agent architecture, workflow automation, or data pipelines.
Comfortable producing short Loom updates explaining code logic and architecture decisions.
