We’re currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with experience in bookkeeping and construction administration. This role requires someone who can manage both financial and project-related tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism across all operations.

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
Manage and reconcile accounts using Xero.
Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time.
Prepare and maintain financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Assist with BAS, GST, and payroll processing in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Manage invoices, receipts, and financial documentation using Hubdoc.
Construction Administration & Quoting
Accurately estimate and quote renovation and construction costs based on project details and consultation sheets.
Interpret and analyse design plans, sketches, and floor layouts for bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries.
Support project management by reviewing job sheets, tracking costs, and maintaining budget accuracy.
Provide administrative support including research, data entry, and report generation.
Communication & Collaboration
Coordinate with tea
Maintain up-to-date records in company systems and assist with documentation and reporting.
Work closely with management to align financial and operational activities with company goals.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant VA, with strong proficiency in Xero.
Background or experience in the construction or renovation industry.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely full-time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Hubdoc, Dext, or other cloud-based accounting tools.
Familiarity with job costing and project-based accounting.
Understanding of Australian BAS/GST and tax compliance.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
