JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Specialist with recruitment or sales experience in the construction industry to conduct outbound calling, generate qualified leads, and build relationships with potential clients and candidates.

This is a part-time role which can transition to full time with a focus on high-volume outreach and measurable results.

? Key Responsibilities

Make at least 50 outbound calls per workday to potential clients, candidates, or partners in the construction industry.
Identify and qualify leads for recruitment opportunities (e.g., laborers, engineers, project managers, site supervisors).
Build and nurture relationships with construction companies, contractors, and skilled workers.
Track calls, follow-ups, and lead progress using a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
Work independently for 10 hours on the agreed day each week and report results.

? Candidate Requirements

1. Experience

Minimum 2–3 years in business development, recruitment, or sales.
Construction industry experience or recruitment for construction roles (blue-collar/skilled trades) is highly preferred.
Proven success with high-volume outbound or cold calling campaigns.

2. Skills

Excellent phone communication, persuasion, and objection-handling abilities.
Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, including research and use of scripts/templates.
Proficient with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
Basic understanding of recruitment workflows and matching candidates to roles.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and disciplined in remote work environments.

3. Industry Knowledge

Familiar with common construction roles (e.g., electricians, plumbers, site managers).
Understanding of current industry trends (e.g., labor shortages, sustainability).
Awareness of recruitment challenges such as seasonality and skill gaps.

4. Availability & Work Setup

Available 10 hours on one consistent day per week (day is flexible if set in advance).
Reliable internet, phone setup/VoIP, and a quiet workspace.
Must be able to work within the target market time zone (please specify availability).

5. Education & Certifications (Nice to Have)

Degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field.
Sales or recruitment certifications (e.g., HubSpot, AIRS) are an advantage.

6. Other Qualifications

Fluent in English (additional languages such as Spanish are beneficial for certain markets).
Access to necessary tools: VoIP system, email, office software.
Portfolio, past call logs, or recruitment/sales metrics are a plus.
