Bookkeeper (Construction/Roofing)

Description:
We are a fast-growing U.S.-based roofing & construction company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction bookkeeping, job costing, and QuickBooks, with the ability to clean up books, create financial reports, and help track company performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate construction bookkeeping records.
- Track job costing (expenses & income per project).
- Perform QuickBooks entries and reconciliations (certification preferred).
- Clean up and organize financial records when needed.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports.
- Assist with company budgeting and financial tracking.
- Support in creating and monitoring financial KPIs.

Preferred (but not required) Skills:
- Experience with Xactimate.
- Prior work with roofing or construction companies.
- Understanding of U.S. tax preparation and codes.

Qualifications:
- Proven construction bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (certification preferred).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work U.S. business hours when required.
