Full-Time Remote Accountant (AP & Payroll Focus)

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM HST (Hawaii Standard Time)
Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $12–$15/hour (USD)

About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Accountant with solid experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll to join our growing team. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, this is your opportunity to work with a company that values precision and strong communication.

You will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, reconciling payments, and assisting the Controller with key accounting tasks. This is a long-term role with a supportive team and plenty of growth potential!

Key Responsibilities

-Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
-Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
-Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals before payments
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
-Prepare payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers
-Maintain organized and up-to-date AP and vendor records
-Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payments
-Support month-end closing and assist the Controller as needed
-Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

Requirements

-4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting roles
-Payroll experience is required
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
-Familiarity with accounting software and general accounting procedures
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
-Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
-Experience in a project-based or dealership environment is a plus
-Must be available to work full-time, 8AM–5PM HST (night shift PH time)
