JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for someone to answer emails/messages and generate proofs (using Photoshop & Illustrator) and quotes for our custom printing business.

To be more specific, we manufacture and sell bottle openers made from real golf balls, baseballs, and hockey pucks. Lately we have been doing more and more custom design work for customers (Groomsmans Gifts, Coaches Gifts, Team Gifts, etc.). If you visit our Etsy page (link below) you'll see the different types of customization that customers can request. We also receive inquiries via our websit contact form and via direct email. The customization ranges from text only to customer supplied graphics and logos with additional text added. We also have a lot of custom templates where the major part of the design is already done and the only thing that changes is text.



The general step by step process is:

1. We receive a message requesting custom text or graphics on a particular opener.

2. If more information is needed in order to generate a proof follow up wiht the cusotmer accordingly.

3. Or if you have enough info to generate a proof then generate one using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop AND set up either a custom listing (Etsy) or a Shopify Invoice (for leads from website) corresponding to however many openers the customer wants to buy. We will provide a pricing structure.

4. Send the proof and invoice to the customer. At this point the customer will either place the order or respond and request more design changes.

The best way to see how we currently process these custom orders would be to just read the exchanges we've had with customers in the past. We can supply a short video that shows the different types of scenarios you'd see.

In terms of time committment you would be expected to do customer service twice a day. The estimated workload would likely be 2 hours for each session. The two times a day requirement make sure that customer messages are answered quickly. We've found that the quicker we answer emails and messages the quicker and more likely that a sale will close.
