Senior Computer Engineer (Level 3 Network Engineer)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Computer Engineer (Level 3 Network Engineer) to join our growing remote IT team.

This position requires advanced technical expertise, particularly in networking (CCNA-level preferred) and Windows Server / Active Directory management. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, managing client networks, and ensuring secure, optimized IT environments across multiple clients.

If you’re a problem-solver with deep networking knowledge, a strong grasp of Microsoft infrastructure, and the ability to lead with precision in a fast-paced environment — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

— Provide expert-level technical support and resolve Level 3 IT issues efficiently and accurately.
— Manage and maintain client networks, servers, and infrastructures with high reliability.
— Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols (SonicWall, Sophos, pfSense, etc.).
— Support and manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
— Optimize and secure network performance, ensuring compliance with best practices.
— Maintain detailed documentation within ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Zendesk, or JIRA.
— Stay updated with emerging technologies and cybersecurity standards.
— Communicate professionally and effectively with clients in clear English (verbal and written).
— Collaborate with the IT team to prioritize and resolve service requests promptly.

What You Bring

— Advanced understanding of networking (CCNA level preferred).
— Medium to advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
— At least 3 years of relevant Level 2 or higher technical support experience.
— Proficiency with Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Exchange, Windows 10/11, Server 2012/2019).
— Strong grasp of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
— Practical knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and system hardening.
— Experience with MSP tools such as ConnectWise, Bitdefender, or similar.
— Familiarity with cloud environments like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
— Excellent documentation skills and process discipline.
— A passion for IT, innovation, and delivering exceptional client service.

— Dedicated Windows 10/11 Professional Edition PC (not shared).
