Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites for healthcare and wellness clients.


Customize themes and plugins to meet client specifications and functionality requirements.


Ensure fast load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and strong technical SEO foundations.


Manage domain setup, SSL configuration, hosting environments, and backups.


Upload, optimize, and format content (blogs, landing pages, service pages) ensuring proper use of headings, alt tags, metadata, and internal linking.


Troubleshoot website issues, broken links, or plugin conflicts.


Implement tracking and integrations such as Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and CRM forms.


Collaborate closely with the SEO, design, and content teams to ensure consistent branding and performance.


Stay updated with WordPress updates, accessibility standards, and web technologies.



Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (agency experience preferred).


3+ years of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.


Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress CMS.


Familiar with Elementor, Kadence, or WPBakery page builders.


Strong understanding of SEO best practices, website accessibility, and user experience design.


Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve website performance issues.


Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.



Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WooCommerce and healthcare-related websites.


Understanding of HIPAA/GDPR and NHS UK compliance and data privacy in medical marketing.


Knowledge of cPanel, DNS, and CDN configurations.


Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and GTmetrix.


Experience implementing structured data, XML sitemaps, and schema markup within WordPress.


Previous experience collaborating with marketing and SEO teams for technical site audits.
