WordPress Web Developer (Code-Level, Not Page Builder)

I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to work on a website build and optimisation project.
This is not a beginner role you must already have the skills and experience to deliver a fully coded, SEO-optimised WordPress site with a professional, high-end finish.

You should be able to:

Customise or rebuild themes using PHP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript

Work with child themes, hooks, and WordPress template hierarchy

Optimise site speed, SEO, and mobile performance

Tweak layouts, styles, and animations for a refined visual standard

Handle plugin setup and integration with confidence

If your experience is limited to drag-and-drop tools like Elementor and you cannot edit theme code directly, do not apply.

I only want developers who understand the technical side of WordPress and can handle projects from setup to launch without supervision.

Please include 3–5 real WordPress sites you’ve built or customised yourself, and be clear about your role in each.
