Position: Full-Time Structural Engineer
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced structural engineer with strong skills in the Wisconsin Residential Building Code (IRC) to support ongoing projects. We are seeking a dependable, accurate, and detail-oriented professional who can interpret architectural plans and produce high-quality structural engineering documents. This position starts with a sample project, providing a chance for us to assess compatibility for ongoing work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a consistent ability to meet deadlines, deliver precise work, communicate promptly and offer valuable structural insights for both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret architectural PDF plans.
- Perform structural analyses to ensure compliance with Wisconsin residential and commercial building codes (IBC and IRC).
- Produce clear, accurate documentation ready for client and building authority review.
- Collaborate with the company on various projects as needs arise.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in structural engineering design in wood, concrete and steel.
- Experience with reading and interpreting architectural documents.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and a proactive problem-solving approach.
